Was I afraid? Absolutely. I created a thousand scenarios in my head of everything that could possibly go wrong. I hadn’t flown anywhere in two and a half years. I battle anxiety as it is. One of my four planes could crash, and I could die. But what if I flew?
Perfect love casts out all fear.
I shall not die but live and proclaim what the LORD has done.
I chose to go anyway. To do it afraid. To let my ruling choice be my spirit of adventure, not a spirit of fear.
Was it expensive? Yes. But…
Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.
So I flew. And came back wealthy.
