My latest cuisine experiment….
Sweet Potato Sausage Soup
Ingredients:
1 lb. browned Italian sausage
2 cartons vegetable broth
1 medium sweet potato
1 small yellow squash
1 small zucchini
2 large carrots or about 12 baby carrots
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 green bell pepper
2 tsp. (or 2 cloves) fresh garlic
1/3 to 1/2 small onion
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. coconut aminos (or soy sauce)
3 Tbsp. ketchup
1 Tbsp. dried kale powder
1 tsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. chili powder
salt & pepper
Directions:
Chop all veggies into small pieces. Put into crock pot with browned sausage and broth. Add sauces and spices, and stir. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high 3 hours.
