Bonjour! I’m Cassie, a country girl at heart. I grew up in a small mountain town in Colorado. I studied Communication, English, and Education. Then I journeyed to France to teach in elementary schools and travel around Europe. After returning stateside, my life fell apart in several ways. But I’m learning to see that when things fall apart, God is never absent. Instead, He takes the pieces of my broken life and builds something new and beautiful. It’s not what I planned, but if I allow myself to be changed, I see His beauty in the newness. God had a marvelous plan to bring the hubs and I together in a beautiful love story that is my absolute favorite! We are now building a house, and beginning to build our life together. “In her heart a woman plans her way, but the LORD directs her steps.” ~Proverbs 16:9 Some of my joys include being a librarian, gardening, meeting new friends, mountain hikes, reading, riding horses, trying new recipes, teaching, and rich conversations with those wise in years.
